How to make reading a habit


Lots of people think reading it's boring or for "nerds" but it couldn't be farther from reality, reads helps you to expand your imagination, reading skills, improve your grammatical abilities and your memory, it expands your knowledge on opinions and others benefits; it's a way to show emotions and discover new worlds.

  • Discover what gender do you like.
  • Start reading short books.
  • Divide your reading by chapters, for example, read 2 or 3 chapters a day. 
  • Take advantage of your free time don't waste it on social media.
  • Set small goals that you now you can do, read 4 or 5 books in a month
  • Download apps that help you set your goals and keep track of your reading journey, I really recommend Bookly or Goodreads
Bookly: It allows you to keep track of your readings, see your advance through the reading, you simply scan the book you are going to read it also allows you to know if you have borrowed a book or if the book you are reading is borrowed.
Goodreads: You can rate and review books among other things, I think you fill a quiz to know what genders you prefer and so in the future, it gives you recommendations of what you may like.
